Mission

AnriNet is an independent, public-record database documenting candidates and outcomes from Japan House of Representatives elections. Our single intent is to make it easy to look up who ran, where, with which party, and how they performed — without editorial spin, opinion, or speculation.

What we cover

  • Candidate-level profiles with vote count, vote share, district position, and outcome.
  • District-level results across multiple recorded elections with winner/runner-up margins.
  • Party-level aggregate performance — candidate counts, win rates, prefecture spread.
  • Election-year overviews with party and gender breakdowns.

What we do not cover

  • Personal biography beyond what appears in public election records.
  • Editorial commentary, endorsements, or campaign reporting.
  • Real-time news. The dataset is refreshed on a periodic schedule (see Methodology).

Team

AnriNet is maintained by a small editorial team focused on data quality. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored content, or campaign material.
